We will spend the evening creating light painting images in Joshua Tree National Park. An excellent introduction to Light Painting for beginners, and an excellent class for experienced photographers to take their craft to the next level.

Optimal Camera Setup, including lens selection - pre-class
NOTE: If you need Lodging in/near Joshua Tree
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
This workshop requires that you have a DLSR (or Mirrorless) camera which allows for manual settings of Aperture, Exposure duration and ISO. The camera should support interchangeable lenses. 50mm or 24-70mm is ideal, but wider is acceptable (lenses can be rented on-line). THE LENS DOES NOT NEED TO BE A F2.8 LENS BECAUSE THE MOON IS OUT. You will also need a tripod.
